Bi-monthly surprise Quality Audits & Mock Drills in every clinic to ensure complete implementation of clinical SOPs by Doctors and Dental Assistants. This includes review of adequacy of PPE to ensure all clinics follow set protocols.
Patient records are digitized and stored in a highly secured and encrypted in-house electronic system (or Centeral Patient Record Section). records can be accessed only by 2HF Doctors in their respective clinics. This Patient Record Software along with Billing & Invoicing facilitates ‘Peer Review Process’; wherein a 2HF Doctor may be asked to reviews the treatment case of another 2HF Doctor under Strict confidentiality.
All Doctors and clinic staff undergo mandatory and regular extensive training on new introductions or recent techniques with a view to enhance professional competence in clinical procedures and the infection control practices as laid down by WHO.
The Centeral patient record section enables analysis of each case using proprietary methodology developed in-house by a team of Dental Specialists.
Biological Spore Testing is carried out by the best Testing Laboratory, by lifting samples from each operatory and sterilization room. ‘Free from Infection’ Certificates are obtained from the testing facility for each clinic. This kind of microbiological testing and sterilization monitoring is rarity in most clinical setups.
All Clinics comply to Radiation Safety protocols and radiation safety devices such as lead aprons and thyroid collars are used. Dosimetry badges are provided to the dental team for radiation monitoring, that are sent to BARC accredited TLD Personnel Monitoring Laboratory for verification.
During the time when the world is facing the Global Pandemic, nobody wants to venture out of their safety zone. The world will change, and we need to gear up and fight. One way to do is ensuring we are in safest environment and that is exactly what 2HF Dental CLINIC will provide you with. Out of all the healthcare services dentistry is the one where the Doctor is in closest contact with the patient. So, here’s the enhanced list of safety measures 2HF has adopted for combatting Covid-19 to ensure 100% sterile and safe environment for our Patients, Doctors & Staff.
Dental machines run at a very high speed in the wet environment of the mouth. They can generate Aerosol which may carry germs. Special high technology equipment has been installed in the 2HF clinics to reduce the aerosols generated during the treatment and clean the air. This technology uses high suction strength, coupled with special filters like the high fibre Cotton filter, fibre glass filter, HEPA (H13) filter and activated carbon filters. All this leads to clean air in the operatory and in the clinic.
All 2HF CLINIC are fumigated regularly using Ultrasonic Humidifiers to ensure the clinics are free from all microbes like viruses, fungi, bacteria, protozoa, algae, and their spores. These machines are in full compliance with European Directive LVD 2014/35/EU, has LCD Touch Screen and Four fog heads out of the mist (amt. of fog up to 1800 ml/Hr).
There is research that proves UV light eliminate virus and micro bacterial contaminants. We have germicidal “UV-C” light” cabinets with a nm range of 200-280 placed in all our clinics. Cash, pipes/tubes and other belongings are sterilized in them after every handling. Sterilised instruments pouches are also stored in them to maintain the sterilisation till their use.
Formalin or Formaldehyde is an effective chemical which is used to sterilize items and equipment which are prone to damage from Steam sterilization such as Autoclave. It has been used for sterilization of plastics, syringes, needles, small scissors, instruments, plaster models, impressions, or articles which cannot be autoclaved & used for external contact items only.
Hands are properly sanitised and dried before donning gloves. A new pair of gloves is worn for every patient. Gloves are even changed if they appear to be contaminated during the treatment.
They work as protective shields and prevents splatters and aerosols from getting into contact with the mucous membranes of the nose and mouth. N95/KN95 masks along with 3 ply Surgical Masks are used basis the type of treatment being done. Even the patients are given face masks in case they are not carrying their own.
Protective eyewear is worn by doctors whenever there is a possibility that a patient’s body fluids may splash or spray onto the face/eyes or an aerosol is being formed. Protective Eyewear is sanitised/sterilised after every use.
Face shields are used in conjunction with the face masks and provide extra protection from the spread of aerosol if any. Face Shields are also sanitised/sterilised after every use.
Protective clothing such as Scrubs prevent contamination of underlying clothing and protects from exposure to blood and body substances. Scrubs are worn by all Doctors throughout the day. They are then washed later in the evening.
Gowns are critical elements of the PPE since they are the second- most-used piece of PPE, following gloves. No dental procedure is taken up without donning the surgical gown.
Worn by Doctors and Dental Assistants throughout the day covering every inch of their hair. These are used in keeping aerosols from lodging on the hair, which may then be transferred to family members or onto inanimate objects.
At 2HF, patient safety is our top priority. We have always placed great emphasis on following the strictest sterilization protocols, and this commitment is not just a reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic, but a longstanding part of our culture. Our trademark procedure, 4 Steps Sterilization, sets us apart from other dental practices. After each patient, we carry out a rigorous four-step sterilization process to ensure that all instruments are 100% sterilized and all viruses and spores are completely eradicated. Additionally, to further increase patient safety, we sterilize our drilling handpieces and drill bits.
To demonstrate our unwavering commitment to asepsis, we open sealed and pouched sterile instruments in front of each patient. At 2HF Dental CLINIC, we take patient safety very seriously and will continue to strictly adhere to our sterilization protocols to provide the highest level of care possible.
